I know how difficult it is to find something to make for Dad's on Father's Day ... well, here is something unique! And, it's not all about ties!!!! These DAD Banners are a great Father's Day craft that your students will love to create and Dad's, Grandpa's, Uncles will love to receive. I made sure to create a template that is generic for students who want to create for another male in their life! There are 7 banner options to choose from. I have included step-by-step directions and visuals to help you create these banners. I have also provided a template for students to write a message to a loved one. All students require are scissors, coloring pencils and glue. You need to have 1 1/2" ribbon for each student and a hoop to hang the banner. I buy bracelets at the dollar store. They come 4 or more in a pack for $1. And, they are large enough to fit around most door knobs so the DAD can hang his banner on his office door. You do need to cut squares (4 x 4) ahead of time for students or bring the heavy cardstock to class and have your students cut those squares. All other templates are included in the package, all you have to do is photocopy. Note: I think this is a great craft for most / all grade levels. This is a really great Mother's Day craft! Includes step-by-step instructions, visuals and a template needed to create beautiful flowers for Mother's Day. Watch the HOW TO VIDEO ... to see how the flowers are made: Have also included 3 really simple writing ideas for your students to fill in about their mom / mum. Enjoy and Happy Mother's Day! Supplies you will require: Coffee filters or tissue paper (or both depending on which of the flowers you want to make) Straws (hospital type that bend) or floral wire from the dollar store (recommended) Scotch tape (if using the straws) or green floral tape (if using the floral wire, again I recommend this option) Scissors Water spritzer to mist flowers Water colour paint and paint brush (for coffee filter flowers) Toothpick Blow dryer (if you want to dry the coffee filter flowers quickly and finish this project all in one day.) This is a really great Mother's Day craft! Includes step-by-step instructions and templates to create three unique Mother's Day Crafts - Tea Pot, Tea Cup and Saucer, Tea Sachet. Each product is made from just one piece of paper! I have created these products on legal sized paper so that each teapot stands about 6" tall and cups and saucers are sized accordingly. The Tea Sachet pouch fits a standard sized tea bag. Light card stock, glue and scissors are required. The Tea Sachet will also need some ribbon and tea bags as inserts. Of course you can make all of these products with regular paper but light cardstock just makes a better finished product!
